Charlottesville Racing Club Teams

The Charlottesville Racing Club competes in numerous categories, and there is at least one captain for each. Many members participate in more than one discipline. In addition to official races, team captains often organize one group ride per month. If you interested, reach out to the captain and consider joining CRC.

    Women's Team

    Women's Team

    The Women's Team is a division of CRC aimed at empowering women to participate, achieve goals, and be supported in a team environment. Racing is not required, and there are group rides for all disciplines, including beginner-focused rides and clinics. The Women's Team strives to be inclusive, accessible, and advocates for women's needs in the sport. The team is community-facing, and members are asked to take an active role in serving as an ambassador on the team.

    Mountain Bike

    Charlottesville Racing Club’s mountain bike group loves to explore the incredible off-road trails of central Virginia and wherever else the trail may lead. While most of us also ride road and gravel, you’ll often find us rolling through the woods. We have an active race team that supports the mountain bike community, and we meet for a monthly club ride at different bike parks, as well as weekly after work in-town rides. Come ride with us!

    The CRC welcomes any activity on wheels including triathlon! We promote the participation of the sport of triathlon - swimming, biking, and running. We are committed to bringing triathletes together and building camaraderie between individuals through training, clinics, social functions, racing and participation in community events. We, in particular offer Open Water Swim from Memorial Day to Labor Day to our members as well as resources regarding local run clubs. Formula Complete Fitness is a club sponsor that offers strengthening and running classes to our community. We also promote health, wellness and safety in the spirit of endurance sports.
